Melanie Ramsey

Certified Elite Fitness Trainer / Lifetime Athlete

Melanie’s athleticism in track landed her a scholarship to attend East Carolina University, where she studied Public Health and realized her desire for a career involved in helping others by positively affecting their health. Melanie is a certified personal trainer who currently also owns and operates a local dance studio.  Because of her diverse background, she specializes in curating programs that are goal-oriented and versatile, encouraging her clients to push themselves and try new things.

Bringing The Gym To You

InfraRED Elite started mobile training in response to COVID-19 as a way to help clients maintain and reach their fitness goals during these difficult times.  All workouts will be conducted by one of our certified fitness trainers.  Additionally, each piece of equipment is thoroughly cleaned between each client visit.

I joined a new gym after a long period of little to no exercise.  I was paired with InfraRED when I signed up for a few sessions with a personal trainer and my life changed.  I worked with InfraRED at least twice per week and thanks to his inspiration and insistence that I could meet the challenges he set for me, my hiking, biking, skiing, and general fitness level increased.  I am 60 and InfraRED got me in shape so I that I was able to carry a 45 pound backpack for several days of hiking and camping in Yellowstone.  I am sad he moved away to NC but he set me on a great path and I can’t recommend him enough.

I trained with InfraRED for over a year and truly looked forward to every session. He is consistently encouraging and attentive - was always meeting me where I was for the day’s workout while still thoughtfully pushing me past my comfort zone a little bit each day. My workouts with InfraRED never felt repetitive or stale because he never ran out of new (and honestly, fun!) exercises to try. My goals when I came to InfraRED were to feel stronger and more confident while also developing an exercise routine I enjoyed and I definitely met them.
